The Gift of Spirituality

Today, it seems that more and more people are seeking to build a relationship with God, whose love, mercy and grace never fail us. The heart of Christian spirituality calls us to strengthen and nourish our relationship with God, with creation, with other people, and with ourselves. In doing this, we live as followers of Jesus, bringing Christ’s light and love to every person and situation we encounter.

This process of growing in our relationship with God—spiritual conversion—invites us to see God’s grace filling all of creation, to truly feel God’s never-ending love for us, and to love and receive love from others. Through prayer, study, and reflection, we can feed our spiritual hunger and join in God’s work here and now. Being Christ-bearers to our suffering world is both a great responsibility and a priceless gift!
