May 29. Our Lady of the Way

Theological meaning

Mary accompanies those who are on a journey, physically or inwardly. She walks with us through transitions and pilgrimages.

In the Bible

“The Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” (Joshua 1.9)

Meditation

Our life is made of passages: decisions to take, stages to cross, unexpected detours. Mary does not show us a fully mapped-out path, but she walks with us. Her presence reassures us, especially when the landscape changes and we lose our bearings. With her, we learn that what matters is not to foresee everything, but to trust, step by step.

Prayer

Mary, accompany my steps and guide me through each part of the day.
