Theological meaning

Mary gathers different peoples into one faith. She is a sign of the unity of the Church at the heart of diversity.

In the Bible

“For all of you are one in Christ Jesus.” (Galatians 3.28)

Meditation

We live in a pluralistic society. Differences can be both a source of richness and tension. Mary, Our Lady of the Nations, reminds us that unity is possible, and that it often begins with an inner attitude.

Prayer

Mary, teach me to welcome others in their differences and to build unity.
