What child did the shepherds rush to see on that first Christmas night? It was Jesus, of course, born a baby to show the world just how much God loves all of us, his children. As we prepare to receive that child this season, we will have help from the other children in the Bible. Sometimes they are small and overlooked, but their stories help point the way to the baby Savior. Each day of December, children will read a devotion and add a handprint or footprint sticker to the easy-to-assemble stand-up manger scene. On Christmas, the final sticker is added: a child, wrapped in swaddling clothes and lying in a manger!
