This Lent, invite children to imagine the sights they might have seen had they followed Jesus on his journey through Jerusalem to the cross of Calvary. From a humble donkey to bread and wine to nails and thorns— each item spotted on the way helps to teach the story of our salvation. Picture the Savior surrounded by waving palms, washing the feet of his disciples, praying under an olive tree, carrying a wooden cross. Our salvation story comes into bright focus when we take the time to really look closely.
