Finding Christ Within

Finding Christ Within
Publication date: 2006-09-26
Number of pages: 143
ISBN: 9782895078388

With this beautifully crafted and deeply personal book, Irma Zaleski explores the universal search for meaning within the Christian tradition.

By far the most autobiographical of her works, Finding Christ Within is the result of Zaleski's life-long search for the human face of God and God's presence in humanity. As with all of Zaleski's books, this work is deceptively simple, deeply spiritual and destined to become a popular classic.

"Zaleski wins the most-insight-in-the-least-number-of-pages award." Christianity Today

Irma Zaleski was born in Poland and emigrated to Canada after World War II. Formerly a teacher at York University, she became a member of the Roman Catholic Madonna House community in Combermere, ON in 1984. It was at Madonna House that she first encountered the Eastern Orthodox tradition that gives her books their unique flavour. She is the author of Who Am I? (Novalis 2005), and Living the Jesus Prayer (Novalis 2011).
