On these pages, teens will find everyday situations that ninth graders face and some tips on how to navigate high school life with style and grace. Some of the topics covered include hazing; getting lost; dealing with disappointment; meeting new people; understanding teachers, parents, and peers.
Chris Wardwell has worked as a parish youth minister and director of religious education, as well as a middle school theology teacher and campus minister. He is a theology teacher at Saint Thomas High School in Houston, Texas, where he once was a student and is a graduate. He also does prison ministry once a week in the Harris County Jail. Chris is happily married to Christine, with whom he has a son, Jacob. When he is not taking pictures, playing guitar, or watching movies with his wife, Chris can usually be found teaching the Scriptures to ninth- and tenth-graders at Saint Thomas. He received his master's degree in pastoral ministry from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota in Winona, Minnesota.
